Junior and senior students are enrolled in one of seventeen different programs. These programs get students job-ready, and for those continuing their educations, college-ready. Over 90 percent of Career Center graduates are either working or continuing their educations.
Among the programs offered are about seventeen different areas of specialization such as; cosmetology, business, and health care. Upon successful completion of any of the programs chosen by a student, they are awarded with a certificate that regional employers hold in high esteem. The Tri-County Adult Career Center also has technology courses that take four years to complete; two to be completed in the high school while the other two years are to be completed in college or a selected point of placement with guidance from the institution.
Aspire serves Ohioans who have less than a 12th grade education or the equivalent and who are beyond age The Aspire program has been highly successful in Ohio for more than 50 years. Adult learners stand to benefit most from the job readiness that high school and vocational credentialing demonstrate to employers throughout the state.

Origami, card making, shuffleboard, chess,Spanish lessons, Wii games, pool, puzzles, card games - these are just a small sample of the activities happening every week at the TriCounty Active Adult Center. Whether you have never tried a game or activity before or you are an expert, you are welcome!
The Tri-County Adult Career Center in Nelsonville, Ohio, prepares students for immediate employment and career advancement through programs designed for workforce development and local economic growth. Academics at Tri-Country include more than 17 different programs designed for high school juniors and seniors in fields like business, cosmetology, information technology, health occupations and more. The goal of these programs is to prepare students for immediate employment or for continuing their education.
