In fact, a huge reason why women became obsessed with a more clean pubic shave stems from the porn industry. Women with pubic hair were always seen as more mature which equated to sexiness. There is virtually no health-related reason for women to have to remove body hair, only personal choice.
Body hair on women shouldn't be a myth. You are here to notice that women with body hair is just totally normal. Shaving is all about aesthetics.
Raise your hand if your mom presented you with a drugstore razor and can of shaving cream, on top of bombarding you with the sex talk and explaining what a period is during puberty. As a woman, there's a good chance you've either been taught or told to shave your legs at some point, but how many of you can honestly say you grew up knowing body hair is beautiful, and removing it is a personal choicenot a requirement? It amazes me that inwomen are still subjected to this stigma, but celebrities with body hairwho aren't shy about posting their stubble on social media, or attending a red carpet event baring hairy legs and wisps under their armpits, are setting an important example for women of all ages.

Laura Jackson set up the Januhairy campaign to raise cash for Body Gossip, and people have been quick to join her exciting project. People up and down the country started by joined the gym, taking up a new hobby or trying out a new diet. But a group of woman have been experimenting with something rather different this month - ditching their razors and letting their body hair grow freely.
Thousands of women, we're told, are signing up for the Hairy Legs Club — an online movement that encourages like-minded ladies to ditch the razor and flaunt their naturally hirsute limbs. But what are men supposed to think about it? A woman with more fuzz on her ankles than a Tour de France cyclist or Premier League footballer can be a strange, conflicting, unsettling sight for us gents.
Men and body hair. There is a lot to talk about in this broad category. But men with plentiful body hair are also somewhat glamorized for their masculinity… at least, as long as it is done right! So where do we draw the line?
